Beautiful condo on the gulf coast. Kitchen and bathrooms are in need of updating. Counters are too low and stove is rusting. Condo is always very clean and orderly but it needs an upgrade.

All walls in the condo were painted in January of 2025. The master bedroom has a new bed and mattress, and new lamps on either side of bed. New toilet in second bathroom. Both bathroom sinks were snaked. New refrigerator and dishwasher have been installed in the newly supplied kitchen. New lighting and ceiling fans installed in the living room.

The condo has been completely repainted with lighter and brighter colors. There is a new bed in the master bedroom (including mattress) and the toilet in the master bathroom has been repaired. The sinks drain effortlessly after being snaked, and a new stopper for the sink has been installed. The shower contains a new shower caddie. The second bathroom has a brand new toilet. The sink has also been snaked. The kitchen has new dishes, silverware, pans and drinking glasses. Each television is in working order and each has its own remote.

Absolutely loved the view of 17 S and how close we were to the ocean. The furniture and the king bed in the master was very comfortable but the unit itself was a bit dated but very clean. Bathroom counters were low and wire shelf in shower had rust stains. Also, the worn racks in the dishwasher are leaving rust stains on edges of dishes, which did not make a good presentation. The refrigerator makes a lot of noise, may need replacement. Overall very happy and definitely would return!!

Beautiful condo with amazing view ! Love waking up and having our coffee in the Lainee enjoying the Gulf! All the condos seem to have a great view with a short walk to beach. We really enjoyed our time at Island House. The managers keep the grounds so nice. Our unit was lovely with very nice furnishings. I would say they really need a new dishwasher but otherwise it was very nice. We love the screened porch which allows a great view with sliders that manage the breeze when it is cool. We've stayed at IH three times now and it is always a great experience. We needed a late checkout and they were very accommodating.

The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable and all the necessities were there... The view was spectacular... The only thing I would’ve liked to have seen would be a small luggage rack so we didn’t have to make so many trips up to the fifth floor... But other than that everything was 100% perfect

I was lucky enough to find this rental about 6 weeks before our travel. Had planned to stay on the Atlantic side of Florida, but thought I would try to find something on the gulf side. So happy I found this! It was very easy to book this room on the Island House website. The staff was very accommodating to me when I was waiting on a new credit card to arrive to pay for the balance that was due. I never had to interact with any staff at all my entire stay. It was as if I owned the place, and was coming home. My only suggestion (not complaint) would be to give the unit a little TLC with painting, etc, and clean the laundry area a bit. Also, it would be helpful to have liquid hand soap in the kitchen & baths. Thank you for a great stay on Siesta Key!

Our 6 nights in 17S of Island House Beach Resort were everything one could hope for. The condo was very clean and very well maintained. It was exactly how it was presented online, attractive, well equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful view, and amenities in good order, such as the pool, outdoor furniture, beach furniture, shuffleboard, and indoor rec room games such as ping pong, pool, etc. In the case of having a burned out light bulb, it was replaced immediately. We highly recommend it.

My family has been vacationing for over 30 years at the Island House on siesta key. The condos are spacious and overlook the beautiful golf waters of the West Coast of Florida. The property is very well maintained by an excellent staff of caring individuals that have become an extended family to all of us. My children and my family members children have all grown up coming to the beach every summer and spending a great time at the Island House. Most are all adults now and continue the tradition of every summer regardless of what’s going on in the world we come to Island House to relax, rejuvenate, recharge and reconnect. Thank you Island House for being our home away from home.

The condo itself was nice and view fabulous. BUT THE AIR CONDITIONER MADE LOUD NOISES during the night. The worst was the elevator. We were scared to use it. We discussed with staff.
