Island House Beach Resort 18S

My wife and I had an absolutely as always a great stay wonderful time. Our unit 18s was breathtaking, way more than we had expected and with all the places to go including fine dining, local bars and wave running we had a blast. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for paradise. Thank you IBHR

We loved the apartment - the size was great, clean and in a great location

As always a wonderful 2 weeks at the Island House.
Impressed with the new staff at the desk. Sunny and his assistant were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Three days in a row ,there were Zero beach chairs available at 10:30 am then 10 then 9:45.
Regardless of the issue of people "reserving" chairs a capital expenditure could easily compensate for that, simply and obviously an inadequate number are provided. If you can't sit on Florida's #1 beach ??
Enough of a problem to discourage returning

We cannot say enough about our experience with Island House Unit 18S
The condo was clean and well appointed. There was NEVER any noise from outside or other units.
The view was beautiful and exactly what is on the web site.
Some suggestions - put together a notebook with restaurant recommendations and "things to do" and things to watch out for (parking charges and tickets)
Also, the air conditioner system was very loud. We were OK as we turned it off in the evening and were comfortable but during the hotter months, that wouldn't be an option.
Overall it was an excellent experience.

My wife and I had 2 wonderful weeks relaxing at the beach. Despite a few "scars" remaining from Ian, the Island house property was in great shape and we experienced a seamless stay. The weather was great so we could enjoy the beautiful view from our dinning area and the sun and sunsets at our leisure. The local restaurants were great and uncrowded- especially enjoyed Sardinia a hidden gem

It was great, as usual. Three weeks after Hurricane Ian hit and we were afraid that things would be out of sorts but there was only a minor parking inconvenience. The apartment was outstanding and had great views. The only down side was that the cookware in the apartment was below average, but that could be a result of many things and did not detract from us enjoying our stay.

It was our first time staying with Island House Beach Resort and it was fantastic! We are already booked for next year! The view from our room was spectacular! It was nice being able to wake up and go for our morning walk, right on the beach!

The place was much larger than places we have stayed in at other locations. It was clean and had everything we needed to function for the week, pots and pans, coffee maker, glasses, knives, forks, spoons. We stopped at Publix just up the street before we got there to pick up food for the week. It all worked out well.

It was easy to get to the shuttle stop (right in front of the resort) and go to shops and restaurants at Siesta Key Village.

We enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to next year’s vacation at Island House Beach Resort. Thank you to the crew at the front desk for answering all of our questions.

We vacation from the U.K. and have been coming to the USA for about 30 years.
We have been staying nearly every year on Siesta Key and at Island house for the last 10 years.
This resort complex is on the best part of the beach and the apartments have a brilliant view.
So we would highly recommend Island House for your stay.

We had a wonderful time in May 2022. The condo being right on the beach was the best part. Very comfortable and very clean! Loved that view! It was nice to have some little things provided, like the outdoor grills, tables, pool, even had a coffee pot, filters, towels and the necessities. Plenty of room for us two and it had a bonus room in case we had other guests. Will definitely stay again!

We have stayed at Island House for 25 years, in different units, each of them beautiful in their own way!! This was our 1st in 18s & we couldnt have been happier! The place was beautifully decorated, kitchen well equipped & bed very comfortable. Check-in & check-out are always a breeze. We enjoyed so much, that we will be returning next year!!

Had a wonderful visit. Always enjoy seeing old friends even if just for a few days. first time staying in Apartment 18S, well maintained, clean, beautiful view of beach, everything worked. only negative was having the AC unit in master bedroom, did not nake for a good night sleep

We have stayed at Island House for 9 years ( minus one pandemic year). The view, the beach, the tenants, the management, the condos have always been OUTSTANDING! And we have high standards! Looking forward to 2023 already!

This rental exceeded my expectations, it was in a perfect location on an amazing beach. The photos didn’t do it justice I will be returning!

Reservation, check in and out was really easy and organized. The condo is perfectly clean with an absolutely breathtaking view. The kitchen is well equipped, master bed room very comfortable bed and the rest of the place is well
maintained and nice decor. Where the sofa bed is located to be able to convert the space in another room is great but it would have been nice to have a real mattress to be able to sleep! We requested an extra padding or something to help our son sleep to the office but we didn’t get any positive answer, so we ended up buying a foam mattress, which we left it at the condo to help for future guests. For light sleepers, the air conditioner from the condo below us was really loud, making difficult to sleep (it could be the way the buildings are build and the way each condo is located, making this noise in all of them?). Unfortunately the beach wasn’t as beautiful as always, due to the “Red Tide” making it impossible to get in the water and enjoy the beach. We would for sure recommend this place and will be back for next holiday.

The condo was really nice and the view was spectacular. Would highly recommend it.

We had a super time in this stunning condo! The views are spectacular, and the rental is gorgeous. Beautifully appointed, fabulous interior design, feels new and spacious - we were so pleasantly surprised. We usually rent from one of the "front" buildings, thinking the views might be better, but we were NOT disappointed with our view and found the interior so lovely.

This place is great. So spacious the pictures do not do it justice. Great location we were able to walk or get a free taxi service very easily for dinners out and enjoyed the beach during the day. It was perfect for getting away from the cold for a few days.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 7 days. Needed a little getaway during these trying times. Some friends and family stopped by here and there. The condo was fantastic! It was all the we wanted and more. The staff was great. We will be back again and again.

This was our second trip to Island House. There is no beach better than the powdery soft sand at Siesta Key. We walked this beach every day. You can have beach bicycles delivered to your parking area by Siesta bike rental to ride on the beach. We kayaked at Turtle bay in a quiet, peaceful nature preserve. The two person kayak was great. This unit was beautiful as pictured with nice layout, large kitchen with everything we needed and breathtaking views of beach and sunsets right from the living room and sun room on top floor. Comfortable king bed and a pullout sofa bed could be partitioned off behind living room. It’s a quiet area and nice heated pool and rec room there also. You can get free shuttles to other places on the key like Siesta Village and Turtle Beach areas. Our favorite restaurants were Big Water Fish market, geckos sports bar just across Old Stickney bridge by Best Western with great food, Turtle beach grill was nice outdoor lunch spot and The Hub in the village was great as well. Off the Key, Walt’s fish market and Der Dutchman for home cooked Amish food. Millie’s was just up Clark st and has wonderful breakfast menu. Publix grocery store was just across the bridge also. Crescent Beach grocery had a nice deli and make sandwiches to order.

Where to begin!?!?! Staying at island house was by far the best experience we've had!! siesta key beah is amazing, our stay there was unforgettable!!! We stayed in 18s. Anything you need is pretty much on premises, from showers to grills and a huge pool with a room with a pool table, air hockey and ping pong table. Vending machine by pool. Room balcony faced the beach, amazing view. U have beach umbrella in room kids beach toys, and best of all, IT'S ON THE BEACH!!!! No need to walk across any streets or walk so many blocks to get to beach, was our first time staying here and certainly will be back!! we highly recommend the island house beach resort.
