Wonderful beach access and gulf view!

This is our 8th year in this apartment and there have ben quite a few improvement over these years. This year included a new guest bathroom, a new refrigerator, a new king mattress, new interior windows (not yet new on the porch) and all new paint throughout. Kitchen lighting was replaced when we were there. The apartment is very comfortable but would benefit by having pull-down shades on the porch. The porch is our favorite space, but too bright and hot in the afternoon. Shades would make it usable all day.

Just a beautiful, relaxing location in a spacious property that did not disappoint.

This rental was one of four rented from Island House for the week of June 10 - 17, 2023. We found the Condo to be everything that one could expect. The view of the beach was beyond description. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas were exceptional. When we arrived, found the areas to be clean and completely ready to receive guests.

This was our second year staying in unit 5S which I think is one the most beautiful views of the beach in SK as it is directly on the beach! Island is a great clean and easy going property. As soon as you walk in, it is almost breathtaking how beautiful the view is of the ocean. I love that about this unit! We were there for spring break, so of course it is more crowded and this year Island house had security and used wrist bracelets for their guests. We were only supplied two but had four people. We got questioned a few times about that. This was new to me and we tried to get more bracelets for everyone in our unit (4) but the office said they didn’t have any and we would have to pay if we needed more than four. Although they were very understanding about us all not having the bracelets, and I understnd why they are using security and the bracelets, but didn’t enjoy being questioned. The unit is very large and was very clean with the essentials we needed. The only negative is the twin beds in the second bedroom are not very comfortable. They move a lot when you turn at nighttime and the pillows for all beds are very very flat. Fluffier pillows would be nice! Thank you so much!

Fantastic week at beautiful Siesta Key! The condo was perfect for our party of 4. Gulf views from the patio and both bedrooms are extraordinary! Beach at this resort is quiet and the white sand is so soft! Thankful for the beach chairs that the resort provided! Will definitely visit again!!!

The condo at 5S was great. The furniture was really comfortable and the view was fantastic. The only complaint we have is the building on the outside was being cleaned so they covered our bedroom windows & the side patio window with plastic so we were not able to enjoy the beautiful view we were expecting to see. Very disappointing.

Any kind of help needed during our stay is promptly taken care of by staff. We have started renting the canopies and I love the fact that I can stay out on the beach for the day and still have shade. We are already talking about next year.

We have stayed at Island House many times and are never disappointed. We always stay in one of the condos and they are wonderful. The location is great. The management at Island house does a great job of maintaining the property and responding to the few issues that may arise. Siesta Key is full of wonderful things to do including really good and fun restaurants. The beach is wonderful. Highly recommend Island House but make reservations well in advance as they book up quickly. Also, a good idea to call in advance and get the number of the company that sets up umbrellas and cabanas and make arrangements prior to arrival as these also sell out well in advance.

We walked in and immediately said "Wow!!! this is perfect!" it is one of the best views on SK..the property was very low key and willing to assist us with the few things we needed..detergent, extra soap, trash bags, etc. I will say this unit needs updated windows and a major thorough professional cleaning company. The important things were cleaned like the bathrooms, and kitchen, but windows had kids dirty prints on them, and the kitchen cabinets were dirty with old sticky food on some cabinets..the utencils are older and not high quality, but you have your necessities and thats all we cared about, but next year will bring windex and paper towels. It would be nice to have a carpet to wipe sand off.even if it is right at the door entry way. With all that being said, we still booked it again for next year because you cannot beat the view and that feeling of the wind blowing through the condo and hearing the waves!

Delightful stay, as always. Such a gorgeous view of the beautiful beach and gulf. We were happy to find new living room furniture - the new chairs were wonderful. We feel at home here. We appreciate Scott's and all the staff's consideration given us.

We love staying here the location is amazing and the views are incredible right from the balcony! This unit needs new mattresses and updated overall. It needs some rugs throughout for relief from the ceramic, like in the kitchen and bathrooms. Scott and the staff are always great to work with especially during the pandemic. We will definitely be back for a fifth stay!!

Love, Love the Island House! Been vacationing here with the family for years! The beach is beautiful, different every year. This year was overcast most days the water was cooler and far less sea weed then last year. The view from our Apt 5N was spectacular!

We enjoyed the closeness of the beach and the ability to look out from the lanai and watch the water. Good sized lanai, good sized condo, well stocked kitchen but would have liked dish detergent to be provided. The windows are showing their age and rattled loudly in the wind. Some of them did not have any latches and we crafted some shims to keep them closed tightly. I would have liked a peep hole in the front door. The ceiling fans that we used were quiet. The toilet in the master bathroom had a loud screech and we kept having to reach in and "fix" the problem. The morning that we left we discovered that the AC wasn't working and the thermostat needed new batteries. I stopped by the office on our way out, but the man "running" the office didn't seem to care, and told me the office was closed. All of the small issues aside, I would visit here again as I took all of this in stride and was flexible with it, but the unit could use some attention.

Our first visit to Siesta Key and we will definitely be back! This apartment was perfect and the beach was fabulous! Everything was immaculate and the beach was pristine.

If we say how awesome this place was, then it will be harder to book for us in the future! But the truth is this was one of the nicest vacations we have had. The view was astounding. Perfect level on the 3rd floor to see the whole beach and not see any neighbors in a deck next to you! The unit is huge and the views continue into the bedrooms too. Wifi worked great and there was a small desk area in the modern big kitchen so I could do some work. Being here it was difficult to do any work however. We walked to Siesta Key Beach, but don't worry the sand and water at Cresent Beach is the same and it is much more private. Use the chairs and lounges from the resort and just drag them out to your spot for the day. Parking was awsome. Close to plenty of restaurants too.
This is probably the best unit at the resort! We have found our annual home on Siesta Key, no need to look any farther.
