Island House Beach Resort V21

Was a relaxing, enjoyable vacation. Conveniently located on the beach and plenty of activities to keep you busy. Have already booked for next year.

We have been coming to Island House for the last 11 years.
While we love the area, the beach and the weather we have noticed a significant decline in the caliber of the units.

I feel for the unit holders that keep them up, Villa 35 as an example but Villa 21 has seen better days.

Time to change the fridge - rust around the ice maker is not appealing. We noted some issues with pests - specifically cockroaches and the furniture is at the point where my wife wouldnt even sit in them.

Bedding should be washable - which this unit has not yet adopted.

This will be the last time we rent this villa (and we know of others with similar complaints) until ownership addresses the deteriorated state of them.

Very unfortunate.

From the moment we pulled in until the moment we pulled out we were extremely happy! The unit was clean, spacious, perfect location to walk right out to the beach from our room, I loved having the covered area for your vehicle and the back porch. I am always skeptical when I rent anywhere and read all reviews, I was nervous about others saying it needed updating however it was PERFECT. The location of this resort is great as well! Will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at Island House. The Villa was very nice. The walk to the beach not far. The people are very friendly.

The rental needs some updating, stove really didn’t work well the sheets weren’t dirty but had stains . The cook ware was rough but we made it work . The coffee maker needs to be replaced the toaster only toasted on one side. Floors were not clean if you walked at all in socks or bare feet they were black after . They parked a tour bus outside our bedroom window which blocked the view of the Gulf . Also started at 7:30 am and woke the whole house up . I realize it’s the beach but also $500 a day so you expect something’s to be a certain standard. We had a good time but other units were nicer . We have been there many times this was not the best .

We had a wonderful time despite a couple of cooler days.
The villa was immaculate and ready for our vacation.
The furniture is very old and worn. Time for updating.

We had a wonderful 2 week vacation, staying in Villa 21 at The Island House! Our Villa was very clean, well maintained, and uncluttered. It’s the closest Villa to the beautiful powdery white sand beach of Siesta Key. We’re hoping to be back next year! jw

Our Villa was in a great location. Great size, had everything we needed. Location was wonderful, right on beautiful Siesta Key beach.

It is always a dream come true to be able to get away from the noise and the crowd to this amazing place this is the closest to a paradise.

We've been coming to Island House for 25 years! We can't be happier! Scott, the manager is always helpful if we need him. Love the closeness to the beach, which is Always clean. IH is our home away from home!!

Most beautiful beach I've been to
The villas are absolutely beautiful. We have recommended these several times to our friends and family. Always clean. Never any issues with anything. This was our third time in villa 21; the closest villa to the beach.

We had a great week and it was clean and had everything we needed as far as utensils, pots and pans and glassware. Only issue was the refrigerator was leaking water from somewhere periodically during the week so we threw a towel down when it leaked. I didn’t notify office till we left cause we just wiped it up
