Island House Beach Resort V6

Loved the location to the beach & the staff were so kind! Booked again because we loved it so much.

Villa 6 was good, but pool too cold.

Smelled like bleach when we arrived as it had just been cleaned, however we wore white socks around the unit and they were black by the end of the day. No laundry unit in the villa...only stayed 3 nights so wasn't a big deal. Master bedroom bathroom tiles and shower weren't clean. No where to sit outside, not even in the driveway as there were no outdoor chairs. New furniture in livingroom but diningroom table chairs had rips in them. For the price, won't be back. Left a review on the Island House Site and it was taken down. lol

In a nutshell, the stay was pleasant. If there is something to point it would be the TV in the Master bedroon was stuck on one channel. I didn't watch much TV in there but it would be a good practice to make sure all TV's are in working condition before checking in. Also, if there would have been a short hose outside maybe 25ft, it would help to keep the driveway clean before stepping in all the sand that accumulates in the door way. Thank you

My first morning however had a visitor, the Biggest Cockroach I've ever seen, so Big it threw my shoe back at me, laughed and retreated.

Other than That, I Loved it!!

Great location at the best section of the beach in Siesta Key. It was close to the trolley stops.
The unit was fairly clean and it had the basics that we needed for the week.
I have two complaints. First would be the primary master mattress needs to be replaced (one side had a body divot so deep the person was 3 inches lower than the other). Second, the fan in the primary room is dangerous if you're over 6 feet, in that location (centre of room in the walkway). My spouse and I were hit in the forehead multiple times
The pool, games room and shuffle board were great!
Staff were friendly and helpful.

My family enjoyed staying at the Island House Beach Resort. The villa was a short walk to the beach and to the ice cream shop my family loved visiting. Also, there's a community gas grill at the resort, so you can cook while enjoying the sunset. In addition, the Trolly stop to the Village and other tourist location is in front of the resort.

Was good In general a beautiful place to stay with your family , in particular house v6 needs new furniture (dirty), need new bed sheets and bed covers or clean at least. Need some treatment for cockroaches... thank you also garden sprinkler should start later at night 12AM to 6AM.

Furniture needs to be cleaned or replaced. Overall great property.

Villa could have used some deeper cleaning (furniture), some basic repair (icemaker),and some other small items for use (cutting board) but great place to catch some zzz's. Spend most of our time at the beach and the nearby oyster bars so don't require much for a place to stay.

Conveniently located across from our parents’ condo, great access to beach and short walk to good restaurants/amenities. It was clean and exactly what we needed for a long weekend visit. The master bathroom pocket door was a damaged and didn’t really function, but it wasn’t an issue considering the other full bath

We really enjoyed our stay here. The villa had most things we needed and it was great to have a full kitchen for breakfast and some meals in. The living room had more than enough space for our family of 6 to relax at the end of the day. The beach was just a few minutes walk away and the pool was so nice and warm. The game room was great for the kids also. Next time I will remember to bring salt and pepper for cooking and quarters for the laundry facility. We would love to stay here again- it was an all around great place to stay for vacation.
